My friend,J, told me this story, which happened two years ago. Let me tell you all about it.
J once walked into a bank in chongqing city and asked for the loan officer. He told the
loan officer that he was going to Beijing on business for two weeks and needed to borrow
2000 yuan.
The bank officer told him that the bank will need some form of security for the loan,so
J handed over the keys to a new Toyota car parked on the street in front of the bank . he produced the title and everything checked out.
The loan officer agreed to accepted the car as collateral for the loan .
Two weeks late, J returned,repaid the 2000yuan and the interest, which about 25yuan
I asked J:"what puzzles me is, you using a 400000yuan Toyota as collateral against a
2000yuan loan , what for ?"
J replied :"where else in chongqing city can I park my car for two weeks for only 25yuan
and expect it to be there when I return?"
